From The Heart...
"And surely I am with you
always, to the very end of time." Matthew 28:20
What little girl
wouldn't love t see a new doll waiting for her
underneath the Christmas tree? My granddaughter, Raygen
loves dolls especially Barbies and of course ALL the
princess dolls. These is a little girl in all of us when
it comes to dolls.
Dale Galloway shared in one of his books a very unique
story about children and dolls. Let me share it with
you...
"Do you like dolls?" the little girls asked her house
guests. "Yes, very much the man said. "Then I will show
you mine, she replied. The next thing the guest knew the
little girl had come out of her room with a multitude of
dolls for him to see. The guest asked, "Now tell me,
which is your favorite?" The child hesitated for a
moment and then said, "If you will promise not to laugh
I will show you my favorite doll." He promised her that
he would never laugh. In a moment she returned with a
tattered, disfigured old doll. It's hair had fallen out,
it's nose was broken, it's cheeks were scratched, and an
arm and leg were missing.
"Well, well, said the guest, and why do you like this
one the best?" She replied, "I love here the most
because if I didn't love her, no one else would."
I don't know about you, but this story truly reflects
the beauty of Christmas. God knew our condition: our
tattered lives, broken hearts, blind eyes, and even our
missing parts. Yet He chose to love us! If He
didn't love us no one else would...That is why my friend
that God sent His Son Jesus as a baby in Bethlehem...but
not just as a baby, but to be our permanent
companion for life!
Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year to you.
